Lately, I've been researching local bookstores in my area to donate/sell copies of my new book, Carnage, to. And, coincidentally, Spine Bookstore and Café was at the top of my list.
Not even a week later, they announce a CALL FOR ARTISTS. Because, to celebrate their one-year anniversary, they are hosting an ART FAIR.
And I emailed them. :O
When I tell you I have never been so excited and so nervous at the same time... NEVER HAVE I EVER. I haven't heard back yet about how to apply and secure a booth, but hopefully... HOPEFULLY!!!
Even though I have no idea if I will actually be able to participate, I've preemptively ordered extra copies of Carnage and Love Like a Storm, promotional stickers, and I'm, at this very moment, personalizing a BANNER to display at the fair! (THAT, however, I won't order until I get confirmation.)
Man, if this happens... this is going to be SUCH an amazing and fun opportunity. If you are in the St. Louis area and can come visit (even if I'm NOT showcasing my books) you definitely should! Support other local artists!
